NOTAMS

Warnings, Cautions, and Alerts

⚠️  Attention  ⚠️

This "NOTAMs" section is for urgent communications.  Please check it every time you visit ezDPE.com.  There could always be messages here that could apply to you and your practical test.
All bookings require a minimum 24-hour advanced notice with the faa.
11-01-2025:  Do NOT book with me in an attempt to test sooner if you are already booked with another DPE for a later date.  This is unprofessional and will not be tolerated.  If this applies to you, please cancel our booking and stick with your prior arrangements.
New (slightly) Interactive Calendar:  I played around with some coding and found a way to integrate an Apple iCloud Calendar into the ezDPE website. The schedule is now fully "active" in the sense that it immediately updates when I schedule a booking on my Apple devices.
The READY LIST has Moved to the Calendar and Displayed on the 1st of the Month.
November Scheduling:  The "Ready, Set, Go" experiment went very well in October.  The schedule was only filled by applicants who were 100% ready for their tests.  Plus, the backlog has been cleared!  Let's keep this going in November.  When you call me to assert you are ready, you might be going in as little as 24-48 hours, or a week, or two weeks.
When we book your test date and time, please complete the fillable Applicant Info PDF and send it back to me.  I need this information to submit the FAA Pre-Approval and prep my paperwork for your test.
Private, Instrument, and Commercial Applicants:  Please go to the Downloads page and select the Pretest Checklist packet for the test you will be taking, print it, read it, and carefully complete every section in the lead-up to your test.  There are three cross-country scenarios in each packet.  Select one to plan for the test.

Availability

Availability Released the Last Week of Every Month.  Schedule changes may occur daily, and the calendar will be updated in real-time.  Test times are communicated via the calendar.
Call-When-Ready Booking Policy

The Call-When-Ready Booking Policy ensures you take your Practical Test when you are FULLY READY to take your test.  When you are ready, please reference the calendar below to see availability.  You might be testing as soon as 48 hours to about 15 days out, so ONLY BOOK WHEN YOU ARE READY!!!

    MonthLY Outlook

The calendar is slightly interactive, but is fully responsive to your screen size.  The bigger the screen, the more you see.  On a phone, it looks best in landscape (horizontal).  I'll continue to innovate and make improvements on it.
