NOTAMS

Warnings, Cautions, and Alerts

⚠️  Attention  ⚠️

This "NOTAMs" section is for urgent communications.  Please check it every time you visit ezDPE.com.  There could always be messages here that could apply to you and your practical test.
All TESTS require a minimum 24-hour advanced notice with the faa.
FAA Order 8900.1 (the rules for DPEs) says we cannot begin a practical test unless we have the "intent to fly".  This means we cannot meet to conduct the Ground Portion (the "Oral") of the test unless we honestly intend to also conduct the Flight Portion.  There's been many requests to meet for just the Oral during our multiple weather events.  I like that everyone is thinking of how to keep tests moving forward, but the rules simply won't allow us to do that.
URGENT: At this time I am unable to schedule any testing activity until further notice.  If you are scheduled with me (you should have received a phone call from me), the test must be canceled.  I am deeply sorry for this inconvenience, and hopefully the problem will be corrected shortly.

The calendar is responsive to your screen size.  The bigger the screen, the more you see.  On a phone, it looks best in landscape (horizontal).  I'll continue to innovate and make improvements on it.

    Background

Robin Leabman started flying at the age of 14 back in 1990, and acquired his Private Pilot and Instrument Rating in high school.  Robin instructed all ratings, including Glider, Tailwheel, and Towplane while in college.  Throughout his aviation career, Robin has flown freight, air ambulance, global ferrying, charter, corporate, and the airlines.  He holds type ratings for LR-JET, GLF4, GLF5, G280, B757, B767, and the L-39 Albatross.

Robin holds all Airplane, Helicopter, and Glider instructor ratings.  He holds ATP in AMEL, ASEL, ASES, and Helicopter.  He also holds AMES at the Commercial level, though he plans to "Level Up" that last remaining airplane class to ATP as soon as possible.

Robin is proud to be a pilot, instructor, and board member for The Pink Jet.

Fun fact:  To date, Robin has taken more than 30 FAA practical tests.
